Capital Gains Tax for Residential Properties

From 6 April 2020, the Government has introduced legislation that will change the way Capital Gains Tax (CGT) is to be reported and paid for residential properties.

You will have 30 days from the date of completion to complete any Capital Gains Tax declaration and pay any liability owing.

Are you thinking of selling in 2020?

Come and meet us for a free consultation where we will provide you with a no-obligation quote to see if we can help you with any statutory filings and information about how and when to pay!

The Government has also changed rules regarding Principal Residence Relief (PPR) and letting relief.  Don't be confused by these changes and speak to one of our staff by calling the office on the number below!
