Before you pay your VAT bill, make sure your deadline has not passed. Your deadline will be shown on your VAT return.
Unless you are on the Annual Accounting Scheme or have payments on account, the deadline for payment to HMRC is 1 calendar month plus 7 days.
E.g. Quarter Ending 31 March 2019 will be due 7 May 2019
